Dave and Glynis emigrated from the UK in January 2003 after falling in love with NZ on a holiday. They settled in the Wellington region and apart from a 2 year period living in Taupo, have called it home ever since.

Dave is a successful IT Manager and Glynis has now retired from a rewarding career as a tutor of adults working for the Open Polytechnic of NZ, focusing on the Manor. Their two daughters and their Kiwi husbands, Elisa & Rob and Emily & Brent live close by and they are able to enjoy family time together with their adorable grandchildren Eva and Frank.
  
Dave and Glynis have been involved in the hospitality business for a number of years and in late 2011 they spotted Elderslea Manor for sale, in a very rundown condition. Falling in love with the property they've since spent many hours restoring it to it's former glory and look forward to welcoming you to their home.

As well as Elderslea Manor, they also run another business, Black Cat Limousines.
